    Surprised nobody had touched on how Rio has been treated by the FA.
    The FA will have known before Terry was named captain for the Euros that they were going to be banning him for actions unbecoming an England captain.So to allow him to lead England and thereby ostracise Ferdinand is really a disgrace
    To allow Hodgson to insult people's intelligence with the "footballing reasons" nonsense makes matters worse.
    I don't like Ferdinand but as an England supporter I believe he should have been,along with Carrick,part of the spine of the side

    Agreed. Extremely strange how Terry has been generally treated in all this and how it's impacted on others. He should have had the same ban as Suarez and I can see no explanation why he didn't. If anything, his case was far more clear cut. As such taking him to the euros ahead of Ferdinand is staggering. Did United on harm but that's not the point.
