Rio Ferdinand will not be made QPR captain when he signs one-year deal at Loftus Road By Paul Collins Published: 07:39 GMT, 17 July 2014 | Updated: 08:55 GMT, 17 July 2014 5 shares 3 View comments Rio Ferdinand will not replace Clint Hill as QPR captain when he joins the Loftus Road club. Where's the journalist's authority for saying this? Harry hasn't said it. Could the journo possibly have made that bit up to get a headline...? I suspect if he comes, Rio won't be captain immediately. But when Clint is on the bench or being rested, it will surely be between Ferdinand and Barton, and I'd go for the latter once his feet are under the table
Clint Hill can't remain as captain as he is likely to be a squad player. The captain should be someone who is likely to play every week. I have a feeling that it will be Our Joey.
Time to go back to an old captain from when we were successful a few years back. Step up Adel! (I'll get me coat.)
