News are saying that England manager roy is thinking to recall Ferdinand for the two england matches coming up since he has been the best England defender for far this season and in a better form then other english defenders. If Rio does get over looked again, then it would be a joke and one of the worst decision ever because if you include all the english defender's Rio Ferdinand played much better and is in a better form the all the rest. It would also be a joke if lescott gets ahead of Rio. it would be interesting to see whether Ferdinand gets a recall or not, we all know that Roy's reason to leave him out before " footballing reasons" is a lie, we all know its because of the Tery and Ashley Cole issue. personally even though Rio says he will never turn down an England chance if it comes but after the way roy hodgson treated him, would Rio like to be training under him? Roy hodgson treated him like crap. for our sake, i wouldn't worry if he doesn't get picked for England, it could give him to weeks break and rest. After the way roy hodgson treated him, i would not like Ferdinand to be training under him. I had respect for roy hodgson before but after the way he treated Rio, i lost some respect for him and i'm sure im not the only one. What do you guys think?
Hope he does get overlooked. I don't think it's a coincidence Rio's been healthy ever since he's been ignored by England managers.
agreed, if he does get overlooked it would be great for united and i don't want him to be playing for England under Roy because of the way he has been treated.
Pretty obvious why he was dropped; Terry was shafting them. Pretty obvious he'd be asked to rejoin the team now that Terry is out. I wouldn't be surprised if Rio gave a finger to Roy and the England squad and decline, I think he has every right to. Naturally I disagree with comments about him being the best English defender this season though!
He was dropped because he is slower than a carthorse with three legs with a dodgy ticker. He is also a drugs cheat and has **** on his wife on more than two occasions and you reckon its because Terry shafted him??? More like his missus

Rio has been part of a defence that has leaked goals for fun this season. Since Vidic has come back its no surprise United have looked better defensively as he was the one that was able to carry Rio for the best part of 6 years up until his injury. Shawcross, Jagielka and Dawson just to name a few have been streets ahead of him and far more worthy of re-calls.

Spurs, Everton and Stoke have all "leaked" more goals than United, in fact United have only conceded one more goal than Chelsea, not bad considering the defense has been a useless old guy, two overrated youngsters, a guy returning from a serious injury (and being rotated a lot) and Evans.... oh and let's not forget about the useless midfield sitting in front of them neither, or the useless keeper behind them. Personally I hope Rio doesn't get recalled and just concentrates on club football, plus the youngsters should be getting more starts now, they can't get that international experience that everyone always harps on about when talking about the likes of Terry and Rio unless they actually play.
