Rights and wrongs of 2017/18

Did one of these last year and Skiddys prediction thread reminded me. Simply what did you get right and wrong last season?

My wrongs:

- Hudders will finish bottom.
- United will win the league.
- Spurs won't get too 4.

My rights:

- Hodgson will keep Palace up.
- Called Pellegrino as a fraud in November
- Hughes will keep us up.

Probably loads more wrongs tbh

 

My rights: City would win the league, Chelsea would be the Daddies of London and Spurs would Spiral.

My Wrongs: Southampton would be relegated, life found at West Ham.

 

Said Pep was ****e, he's proven me wrong. Regardless of how much he's spent he's wrecked this league.

Also said Conte would melt, which he has for the most part.

Said Watford would get relegated

 

I called it that Palace would finish above W Ham..even tried to have a bet with someone on here..

but got utd winning the title wrong

 

Predicted that Skiddy would make one **** post after the other, just like last year and I was proven right.
Also predicted that we would qualify for the Champions league and the Chavs would get Europa league, proven right once again.

Was wrong about how close Arsenal might get to us in the league, I predicted a single figure gap. Was also wrong when I predicted Harry Kane will not hit the 30 goal mark, he did.

 

Also wrong about my post, keep going Son you’re on a roll (don’t eat it).

 

I said Mark Hughes would keep Southampton up.

 

I'm **** at remembering this stuff. I don't remember any of my predictions.

 

Predicted that we would win a trophy this year, we did. Predicted Spuds wouldn't win a trophy this year, and guess what?

 

Wrong: UTD would win the league,

Right: UTD would finish in front of Liverpool

I liked the find life at West Ham too.

 

I honestly didn’t think we’d make CL football this year. I thought that top six would be the best we’d get.

Relegation, I got 2 out of three right. Wrong about Huddersfield.

 

I got a few things right, surprisingly. One of my colleagues is a very voluble Liverpool fan (doesn't go to games). Every year he tells me how much he knows about football, every year I take money off him . This year it was Spurs finishing above Liverpool, Saints staying up, and the Cup Final result.

Had to hand him back a tenner though, because Liverpool got beyond the QF of the CL. But the biggest thing I got wrong - about 3 games into the season, I said to my neighbour at St Marys, "relax, we won't be in a relegation battle this season".

 

Your wrongs were exactly the same as mine

 

What i got wrong - Morata and Bakayoko would be world beaters

What i got right - Salah would be the dogs bollocks

 

I remember saying something like "I bet ya Salah is ****ing awesome for Liverpool after all this, it would be just our luck, the amount of awesome players we have discarded over the years", and lo and behold......

Who is the guy who judges talent at Chelsea? Because he needs to lose his job
