....I'm going to do a Dai I refer of course to statements like this; At the start of this summer I predicted (kinda, in a roundabout way ) the following; - Sinclair's departure - Allen's departure (actually only a couple of weeks ago during a heated discussion regarding the Olympics traitors....but I'm having it) and - Caulker's England call up Can anyone beat that? (yes, I know Samuel L Jackson....and Dai )
I thought my post was quite witty, TW. Sorry if it offends. I just find 'told you so' threads unappealing. No offence intended. Dai was right about Allen as it turns out, fair play. He's still spouting rubbish most of the time though. You were right about everything else. Hope that's cheered you up.
I think Dai has a scatter gun approach to his forecasts. If you make a large number of them, you may just get lucky. ...
and im referenced why??? .. i dont create $hit rumors.. just post articles of interest to Swans fans...
When did Caulker get his England call up? I'll call you 'Nostrad' for now. When it happens you can gain the extra 'amus'
Wouldn't have seen the comment if it hadn't been replied to. If I bother him that much PUT ME ON IGNORE! How hard can it be? Par for the course, guys. I'm kinda getting used to it. He's only proving me right in what I've been saying all along. When you've been called "scumbag" and "prick" I think "obnoxious troll" is quite tame. How long before Norway and / or Dai tag team on this? Sorry Terror, not my intention.
I've tried, Vetch. I even asked to meet up to have a drink and bury the hatchet (not in a nasty way!) and even that was met with abuse. The guy just can't help himself. Fair play to Norway he does let things blow over but this one doesn't let sleeping dogs lie.
I'm genuinely interested in who predicted things that have since come true, even if you predicted it in private... Or how about; what has anyone predicted that was spectacularly wrong? I once believed that both Orlandi and MacDonald would end up regular starters. Casey Thomas and Kerry Morgan I rated too....still time for Thomas. Or, things you didn't see coming? De Vries for me was shocking...I couldn't see it coming because I didn't understand the logic and still don't.
De Vries was a really bad mistake - for him. And to think Rodgers was desperate to keep him. Funny how things work out. I rarely predict stuff because I'm notoriously bad at it, but a guy I know who tells me he has contacts (I don't believe him any more) said that we were definitely signing some brilliant midfielder a few years ago. Can't remember who but it was a foreign guy with a gorgeous model girlfriend (pick any one of a hundred). I promptly spread the rumour as 'fact' and it never happened and have learned my lesson.
