Quite. There was a piece in the AS paper over here at the start of the season very similar to this and it is widely accepted that Sevilla's model is the way it should be done for clubs that aren't vastly wealthy - well, Real Madrid or Barcelona, really. Even Athletico have to be careful and aren't in the super rich category. Monchi is a bit of a hero here and is as well known as any of the players. Definitely the polar opposite of Rigg.
