Read on SSN this morning that Mike Rigg has left? But no news story on the Sky Sports website or the BBC for that matter.

Wonder whats happening. How will that leave our restructuring.

Harry wants his own man. Rigg was bought in by MH.

He was "technical director" which translates as scout...or in this case, temporary scout

Everything to do with playing infrastructure - building a scouting network from nothing, boss of the academy, identifying and getting transfer targets within the fee and salary limits given to him, bringing in kids from all over the place to set up a pipeline. In fact everything except the business and non playing side, which is run by Beard. He is very well respected, the Saudi's trusted him with a billion at City. He is, in effect, Director of Football.
If this is true, does not sound like good news. Possibilities:
Loyalty to Hughes - doubtful, he stayed on at City for years after Hughes went
Poor performance - board unhappy with who he brought in over the summer, lack of progress elsewhere
Harold does not like having a Director of Football hanging around, especially one deeply involved in transfers. Most likely.

    Lets see if its true.

Ive not been happy with the players weve signed in general so Im not bothered hes gone. Harry wants total control over the transfers, I just hope someone hides the brown paper bags.

    No truth.

...but if there is, one of these reasons would be my guess.
