Who is his mate?

No idea I just read OLM's post a page back....

The fact that he's apparently mates with one of our lads and it's not the first game he's been to, makes it disappointing likely that it was just a social visit.

Still, you never know, maybe we're just waiting until after the international break, so we can save ourselves £50k.

Is there a striker out there who has recently fell out of favour and needs games.
The only one I can think of is Lafferty, a poor choice as a goalscorer unless Bruce is looking to bring in a specialist target man to help Abel but on the other hand he will be eager to put himself about and do well so commitment won't be an issue as it is with so many loanees.

There's not a lot of obvious options.

Other than Lambert, there's that Campbell bloke at Palace <yikes>, or we could try and twist Man City's arm for Kelechi Iheanacho.

It doesn't look like we're going for anyone anyway.

Let's just not sign anyone and spend another season or two in the Championship.

It'll be even more difficult next season when we lose players and we have potentially the likes of Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland or Norwich.

For the potential at stake you would have thought our owners would be savvy enough to think £500k + on wages gives us a much better chance of promotion, but then again..

I think what everybody would like to see is another midfielder come in. Preferably a central midfielder that we can play up front.
