There's a fairly interesting article from Rohan Ricketts on his blog about Glenn Hoddle's managerial style, that has been reposted today, presumably with the weekend's game in mind.
He played under him at both Spurs, where our former manager handed him his debut and at Wolves.

Sounds like Ledley King got him sacked, which is a little unexpected.
The bit about the Standard offering to pay players for stories doesn't surprise me, though.

Thats sounds like a real dressing room to me, for those who've never been in one, quite an insight. The author disagree's with the idea of Ledders or any captain having meetings with Chairman, I don't. Whats most important is THFC, the manager is just a component in that machine, if its not working, you replace it like anything else at the club, well done Ledders for me. If he'd touched my knee without warning, I'd have headbutted him! <laugh>

“Aaah Rohan, how do you feel now that your dad has left?” <laugh>

If it's true, one has to say that Ledders was right to get him sacked.

And that's coming from someone who otherwise won't have a word said against, undoubtedly, the greatest player to have ever put on the lilly-white shirt.
