My hunch is that RE has done nothing more than embellish what Murray told the staff, possible his ‘source’ is one of the staff at the meeting. I can think of two candidates on pally terms with RE. It’s all bollox.
You are right, but it’s mainly down to a certain person and his “IDK” grandiosity. Not sure anyone takes Colin or Angel Delight that seriously?
Guess it’s a private acquisition then as any done deal would have to be disclosed to PLC partners I imagine. I know little of Muir, does anyone know if he sits on any PLC boards? That’s of corse if it is him, but it could be a way of ruling him out if he does.
Really pathetic stuff from Rick Everitt in the latest VOTV. “Time is running out for Duchatelet to see Charlton before the end of February”. Really ? Who is time running out for ? The multi millionaire owner who can fund the losses, or the £2 fanzine editor & his reputation for telling the truth.
The only silver lining to this whole sorry business is knowing that Duchatelet gets about £35,000 poorer every day funding the Club.
I am really losing faith with Rick Everitt. Firstly putting up in October that the Takeover was imminent. Then saying that it was a done deal when it wasn't. It is not fair on Charlton supporters to keep on giving them false hope. Most of us want Duchatelet to go . But wishing he was gone and putting up false information is not right. Everitt says he has more than one source, might I suggest that both those sources are wrong.
The Fake News hysteria over ex player Roger Johnson has conveniently taken the spotlight off Rick Everitt. Getting on for 4 weeks now since the “done deal”
Truly hedging his bets today - 5 interested parties. All so he can claim he called it right when it’s eventually happens. Thank you to Wyn for saving me a £2 coin.
PLease tell me the protests don't involve throwing toys on to the pitch. A march followed by a demo please.
Can’t you see what he (RE) does every month ? He just spices up rumours he has heard from other posters and reports them as facts in VOTV to make a few quid off dupes.
