Charlie Richmond was on sportsound tonight telling us that the strike was a mistake. the referee committee said he 'wasn't a team member'. "Not being a team player means I didn't suck up to the right people!" On Dallas ""He might have left, but look at what he is doing now and who he put in to replace him!" 'Watch what you say in dressing rooms, you are already being spoke about!" Linesman and 4th officials lying about him. Regan hits back via tweet. Stewart M. Regan ‏ @StewartRegan Referee appointments are based on performance. Would prefer to see consistent under performers 'retire' without feeling need to blame others. Mee-****in-ow. If he was consistently underperforming then why were so many appeals against his decisions upheld?
Richmond was a bit of a baloon in his time, a bungler, Captain Mainwairing type, no loss. Is he really sooking up Dallas' arse?
The opposite by the sounds of it. He was ****e, but Regan needs to shut his hole. Richmond was reintroduced to the SPL on his watch. If he wasn't good enough, why give him games?
I am only repeating this third hand btw. It is on the podcast apparently. I'll have a listen to that before shooting off any more. But it sounds like a boys club.
Ive had a listen, richmond comes across as rather vague and confused/ confusing...endless inference and innuendo...and he is really quite far up his own arse
i listened to it last night. He thinks he is a great man. Trying to be smart and not reveal too much. Jim Spence did a good job trying to drag it out of him but I dont see the point if he is gonna keep everything to himself.
The other thing is that our manager is up this week for criticising referees. Well played Rhegan Now Timmy can say that the CE of the SFA can criticise refs then so can the Lurgan biggit. I ****in pure hate that Taigy bead rattlin IRA biggit.
Rogue Leader Ive had a listen, Richmond comes across as rather vague and confused/ confusing...endless inference and innuendo...and he is really quite far up his own arse. I think Richmond demonstrated to you how he was deemed fit to be a SPL referee in the fist place, I can think of no other SPL referee that the above description doesn't fit.
