Great attitude. Setting the standard for the rest of the squad. If he can prove that last season's injuries and lack of match practice hasn't negatively affected him too much I personally would welcome him back into the first team fold with open arms.
Agree with the comments above and refereshing to see - thing is he's right - he is a very good technical player when fully fit.
He needs to get into better shape. I don't think he could complete a 90 minute game and at this stage of his career he should still be ok (he's only 33). He can be useful, but he doesn't offer enough to start games IMO.
