Very happy with this, good player. Him + N'Daw will offer a good shield for the defence. If we get Moshni, I'd be delighted with that too. I'd put him straight into centre back with Chambers, and Higginbotham moving to left back. Cressy, I'm afraid you would very much go as sub. We CANNOT afford two attacking full backs at present, and a lot of our goals come from Cressy's side. I think then we'd certainly move up the table.
Or lets add no one else to the squad when it's patently obvious we need it ? I'm not a fan of loan, but we've little choice right now. N'daw needs a good partner, I think Wellens could be it. Tommy Smith is horrific and shouldn't be let near a football pitch. Moshni looks a decent prospect, and worth a go I'd say. More than happy for the 2 ( should Moshni sign ) join us .
Wellens and Higginbottom will be here for a total of 4/5 games and then they go back so what is the point? Jewell the clown should have had this sorted well before now and this just smacks of desperaton shovelling pollyfilla into the huge gaps. I'm just saying that these short term deals rarely work out and indeed may cause more problems than they solve!
What's wrong with Hyam? Results are generally better when he plays. The way I feel right now I think Norris and Hyam would've been a great pairing. Hyam could've stayed in the centre circle allowing Norris to do his headless chicken impression whilst scoring a few goals. The Leadknob/Norris combination never worked because neither wanted to stay back.
1 month loans can be extended to 3 months so hopefully if they do work out we can get them in for longer than 4 games.I wish we werent relying on loans but we need to improve and if we cant do that with our own players than it has to be loans or freebies. I know some of you wouldnt mind seeing us relegated and it may well bring our problems to a head but its an option that quite honestly scares the hell out of me so improvement, improvement, improvement.
Have to say I think this is correct, both are not going to get any first team football at their clubs so will probably want to stay as long as possible. Higginbotham has clearly already made a difference, Wellens is a good honest no nonsense mdfielder just what we need at this time.
