    He has got a new club lined up thats why. Doncaster cant afford to sign Wellens until their takeover goes through which is currently on the ropes. Wellens signed a short term deal but now another club has came in

    How good are Doncaster looking right now though? I think he's a player many would like to have in their squad at least, but not many better than Doncaster would play him every week.

    Wellens is a spent force IMO

    He was the best midfielder in the league when he was at his peak. I still think he can do a job for someone but his best days are behind him now
