    One of the voices of my childhood watching Test Cricket on the BBC and listening to the Oracle of Cricket.

    Richie Benaud a commentator genius sadly passed away earlier today.

    I remember him commentating on so many great Tests including "Botham's Ashes".

    Another great has been lost.

    Totally, part of my childhood was during the summer watching test match cricket with Benaud fantastic commentary coming through.

    That is a sad loss, like you have grown up with two things that I associate with test cricket; the theme tune too BBC coverage and Richie with his totally unbiased commentary.

    Richie Benaud and the long departed Jim Laker... They were like Ham & Eggs!
