Richard Stearman has played his last game for Town this season after coming off through injury against Wednesday today. He has played a pivotal role in helping us to the verge of safety this season with some fantastic performances at Right Back. He would be my No1 priority signing for next season and I'm sure that Mick will be thinking the same. Wolves loss has been our gain and I really hope that we sign him up.

Hewitt is likely to take his place for the final 2 games so it will give us a chance to have a good look at him as well but Stearman will be a loss to us! Thank god we are almost certainly safe! Sign him up Super Mick... What do you think?

    Thanks for everything Richard.
I would only sign him for the right money, no point completely pushing the boat out as Hewitt may prove to be an able right back himself but we should definitely try and bring him in if the deal is good..

I heard £1.8 Million and I would pay that sort of money for a quality player like Richard Stearman

Not sure if we should go quite as high as that for a RB. At that price I would probably say no.

Should wolves get relegated we'll get him even cheaper. But yes sign him up. He's played a huge part in our now stingy defence.

Just read on TWTD that Stearman has a Grade 1 Hamstring injury which apparently is the least serious so there is every chance that he will feature next week!

Might be nice to see Elliott given a run out nonetheless <ok>

Apparently Mick has said Hewitt will still get his chance in the final 2 games - not sure if this means as a sub or a full start but I'm hoping for the latter

Whilst he's been great. I still think he's best as a CB, he doesn't offer enough going forward. But would be a great player to sign, we'd have 3 top CBs then!!
