If there is no truth in the rumour about Hatem "chinning" Alan Pardew, which Newcastle say never happened, can someone explain why after the match in question he was forced to train with the Academy squad for the rest of the season?

I suppose being dropped to train with kids doesn't need to be the result of a chinning... He could have called Pard's mother a hairy lesbian interloper.

 

Rest of the Season sounds a long-time, but it was only a week.
You could ask the question, if there was any truth in it, why are the Club going to such lengths to get an apology from RK and for him to retract what was in his tweet.
F*** knows if it happened or not, and to be honest who really cares anyway.

That Newcastle are pursuing it suggests it is indeed a load of tripe (as most suspected at the time). You'd have to think his punishment would have been worse had he done such a thing. There would be a strong argument for sacking him.
