In the week leading up to today, quite a few hoped he would be left out today. He wasn't in his best form so maybe understandable when faced with a pacy team like Derby. But feck me, the guy was immense today. Whenever the ball was in our area he seemed to be there clearing it away. Love the guy for his commitment and effort. So hopefully instead of anyone saying he won't be good enough next season in the premiership, just enjoy what he did today.

He played well and got the Wembley motm, however he was up against a big lump in martin which suits him.

I'd still have nightmares about him in the PL.

Well said. Forget about next season and enjoy the effort and achievement today. No one bottled it. Always hard with 10 men.

Thats my thoughts, I often say that the first shot goes in all of the time with him but what a day to make the largest number of save without conceding, his positioning was spot on, he also claimed every cross he came for.

I thought Dunne was your best player as for someone of his age (and lack of pace) to perform at the level he did (when under massive pressure) makes him MOTM, especially when most of your fans have been ridiculing him. Plus because of Dunne marshalling your defence, Derby didn't have any real chances other then the odd half chance and Green was also superb but Derby for all their possession created very little.

It was probably fitting that Dunne and Zamora won you the match, considering the abuse they have received.

I said I would walk out of Wembley yesterday in protest if Dunne didn't start, I stand by it. He was a colossus. Green MOTM though.
