    Funny how a players career can work out, I'm watching Port Vale v Oxford (3-0 atm to Vale).Duffy's playing who not so long a go was a rising star , now playing league 2 football , at 27/8? ,its unlikely he'll progress back up the leagues, he left us under a bit of a cloud for Portsmouth & look where they are now

    Didn't he come back to us for a bit but never made an impression shame really.

    easy mistake to make:laugh: , he came back on loan but didn't really make an impact

    Nah..your talking about Bobby ewing !!

    Duffy just took the wrong move at a critical time IMO, his development stopped the day he left to play for pompey, sometimes players progress and sometimes they dont,he earned a tidy living for such a young boy though and im sure that probably made him think he"made it" as a pro footballer,countless others have done the same thing, maybe league2 was his level?
