    OMG!

Just got back from the game and what an absolutely fantastic game he had!

Always gives his all and is really spin brilliantly!

Massive amount of respect to him

Would also like to say how well I thought Danny Butterfield did today. Had a solid game, I hope that answers a few question about whether he can keep up with this level of football!

    COYR!

Chaplow is having a storming season, we're spoilt for choice in midfield with Lallana back!

Depends whether we need muscle or magic, or a bit of both!

A great TEAM performance today, but yeah credit to Chappers and Butters who have come in and proved that competition for places is so good at the club right now....What about Rickie's volley? surely would have been goal of the season. A fantastic team effort for the third goal too. <ok>

Chaplow was ridiculously good today - Butterfield was good but it's still Richardson 100% of the time for me.

Guess what Dan, I agree with you entirely!

Butterfield, whilst good, was rarely tested defensively. It's a lot easier to be a full-back when all you really have to do is offensive work and a bit of mopping up (Harding in league one, cough cough).

Chaplow's performance today was quite possibly the performance of the season so far for me.

Butterfield had a good game but I still think Richardson is the all round better right back. Guess he was injured today?

Judging from Adkins post match interview i think he was rested Adkins didn't say he was injured .
Im happy for us to rotate our team as we have a long hard season. Long as the players that come in, play to the standard that the rest of the team do I have no problem with it <ok>

Yes, I took it from Adkins' interview that playing Butterfield was a tactical decision, to allow us to get accurate crosses from deep played into the box.

I think NA did a job on Boro today!! Butterfield holding RB position, Chaplow pushing onto their RB, Guly's presence and height up front!!! Not always but some of the time during the game we got the ball to the front players a little bit quicker than usual. Lambert pivotal, read Mowbray's post match interview http://www.mfc.co.uk/page/news/moggas-message/0,,1~2498728,00.html

From what I saw on the TV feed and heard on the radio, Chaplow was like a man possessed. He was into every tackle, and as soon as he got the ball, he made use of it. Only rarely did it not turn out to be a useful ball.

Fact is though, the whole midfield were superb. Hammond bossed the middle and Cork was box to box. But they all seemed to interchange and yet know their specific tasks. It actually looked like a Premier League side playing a Championship one, for most of the time I was able to watch.

It certainly didn't look like 1st against 3rd. It looked more like we were playing relegation candidates. No reflection on Boro..at our best we can do that to a lot of teams.

Both were excellent. I too agree that Frazer is better all round. Today though Butters did show that he crosses better than Frazer and for those who think he wasn't tested defensively, I thought he was. There were a few times in the first half hour that Emnes had the ball down the left flank... he just didn't have it for long as Butters either knicked it or stuck him on his arse.

Emnes has been one of the best strikers in the league this season and he didn't get a sniff. Well done Butters.

Chaplow? Awesome, though I thought he should have had a shot in the first thirty seconds instead of passing. If he'd scored then it might have changed the game and we may have gone on to give Boro a lesson. :emoticon-0112-wonde

Thought both were amazing today. Couldn't understand not starting de ridder at first but the way which chaplow played, thought he was MOM but apparently fonte got that, which in truth he also had a solid game so it's nice to see him being consistent again. Butterfield was quality, extremely good crosser of the ball, quite happy to interchange with richardson, works out extremely well for us, we have the squad, let's utilise it.

How well Chaplow played was summed up by Steve Claridge on the FLS. When asked about Chaplow he was at first almost speechless! When he finally found his words he was so full of praise and likened him to being like a new signing. Watch out Peterborough, Chappers is coming for you.....
