We have the former Portugal keeper Ricardo on trial. This seems harsh on Weale as he has been better recently and the signing of Kirkland proves that you shouldnt always go after the big name signing and be happy with people who are going to do the job. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...s-Leicester-revolution.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
Yeah i am a big fan of Weale and you could tell he was affected when Kirkland stories started to surface. I however do agree that if Weale was injured then i would rather put my own granny in between the sticks than Logan!
Recently Weale has done well. Made countless great saves v Man city over both legs including saving Tevez's peno. He couldnt do anything about Millwall's goals. He does make to odd mistake but you have to accept that everyone will make mistakes. I dont want Ricardo i think he will be too big an ego, but Sven knows best
Weale drives me nuts! Yeah he makes some good saves but he also lets in some howlers. I seem to be alone in thinking that a better goalkeeper would have at least deflected Tevez's "wonder goal", to me it looked quite soft - look at the distance and angle; it seemed to go through Weale's arms.
I wasnt happy when that went in, he did dive under the ball and should have got fingers to it, but it was an excellent goal and some of his saves that night were excellent, hes a great shot stopper, but my bug is he doesnt command. But you dont get that sort of GK in this league adn so hes good for this league. Ricardo is all round a poor goalkeeper in my book, who is eccentric like 50% of foreign goalkeepers. The only GK we should consider on a permanent is Westwood
It was past him before he had a chance to go for it. It was a goalscorers goal because Tevez took it early when he wasn't expecting it.
lol Completely ignored the article. I personally think he is one of the best Goalkeepers to have not played in the Prem (Obviously the best being Valdez, Cassilas and Buffon et al)
Ill agree is do cast an envious eye whenever he makes a great save. Wonder how many points he saves you per season through good saves? A keeper in his mould is all were missing, someone who can lead from the back.
He is one of the better goalies in this league purely because of leadership and consistency. The best is between Kasper Schmiechal, Lee Camp and Kieran Westwood.
Aye, promising article in the Mail this morning..... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Citys-Shay-Given-wants-loan-Championship.html
