Can I breath out yet? Would be great for us to have him a Fratton again. But will he come for the meagre wages we would be able to afford - and would he be happy playing in League One. If the answer to both questions is YES, then YIPPEE!
Nearly. Guy Whittingham has confirmed that talks are taking place May not be immediate though - but GW has confirmed that Rocha wants to come back and Guy wants him back so most likely a deal can be done.
He should never have been let go in the first place. He would have been brilliant for us at this level from the beginning. Wasn't he one of the players who was prepared to lower their wage demands?
Yes he was - but Appleton didn't want him back for some reason. Possibly because of the 20 player embargo?
Oh, what wonderful news ! Just what we need at this moment All we need now is for Marco Futacs to return on loan - I can just imagine him alongside Izale McLeod in attack !
There you go then meowth - it looks like Guy has fixed it for youuuu (not to be confused with similar shabby shows from the past).
Correct me if I'm worng, but do you mean Jim'll fix it ?? I've heard a lot about that recenrly, in the london Metro And it's official now, Rocha's a Pompey man: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11674/8247622/Pompey-lining-up-Rocha-return
Ricardo Rocha ................... will be joining up with the rest of the team early next week!!! http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/rocha-nears-blues-return-1-4489879
This is very positive news. Once this long lasting fiasco finally reaches its conclusion, I hope Corporal Punishment [or whoever ends up in the hot seat] will be able to put together a side to fire us out of and away from the relegation zone. Survival this year, consolidation and growing confidence with a top half finish next and pushing for promotion in 2015. I'd take that
The sooner we get Ricardo Rocha fit, the better. Presume Michalik would make way for him at centre back.
It's a possiblity that once Dickinson goes back to Watford Rocha will take his place in the team with others being shifted around. This will be so good for the youngsters - according to Pearce etc. he always talked to them and helped them on the pitch.
Thank goodness for that! Michalik started out for Pompey fantastically- then after about 5 games, he kept losing his concentration in games. These concentration lapses led to cheap fouls, or cheap goals conceded. And he gave away the penalthy- needlessly- a few games ago, when we were live on TV .. Rocha should be the perfect replacement .. for himself!
Ricardo Rocha.......... Is back!!!! Signed a 1 month deal already. Oh - and he'll be wearing the no. 33 shirt again.
Well he's kept himself fit, but whether that's match fit enough? We should find out tomorrow - apparently we'll be seeing him on the pitch then. I wonder how loud the roar will be when they announce his name down the Park tomorrow!
