Reports growing we are on the verge of signing Porto and Portugal right back Ricardo Pereira. He has been named in their squad for the world cup and he has said he wants to sort his future out before he goes https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/...ty-deal-1578716.amp?__twitter_impression=true
I think the owners have to put a statement out. Either sack him now or come out and back him and I will reluctantly get behind the clown for now at least
There were optimistic signs in the last couple of games, but it can't gloss over the shambles of the last few months. If Puel was going to be sacked, it would have happened by now, we'll see how well he can do with a full summer transfer window. Most mangers haveto show improvement in the first 10 games after a summer window, no reason for us to be any different.
Looks a great signings, hope we get this one over the line. I’m sure Puel will improve with signings like this
Hopefully Puel was going through different options in the latter games of the season in preparation for next. He should have learned a bit from them to say the least. The last two games may either have papered over some cracks, or is a taste of next season.
Simpson is crucial next year though I feel to help the transition. When we go through bad form, nothing would be a better option potentially, depending how Pereira does, to bring in a rock solid option for a spell of games.
That was before the West Ham game. We was embarrased in that game, beat Arsenal and let in 5 again since The Arsenal game is just papering over the cracks
Excellent signing on paper, but I do think it will be crucial to keep Simpson as he will have a big role when things aren’t going well and we need to stop conceding
Great signing! Seems he came because of Puel. Hopefully with his own signings and putting his stamp on things we’ll see a huge improvement. I’d say another Cb (Mawson or Evans) and then focus on attacking midfield as CM is fine and strikers we have Vardy and Iheanacho. A number 10 and Mahre replacement if he goes and it’ll be a successful window
Not a Simpson fan then. Ritchie was ok at the time, Simpson far better and hopefully Periera is another step up again.
