I think some people feel that if you can't afford a Rolls Royce it is better to have no car than to have a BMW. Sometimes you just need a car. The prices in this country are inflated by demand, especially for British players, but we have no means of comparing that to players abroad. Perhaps Lee at 700K is equivalent to a 3-4 million player in this country..we'll just have to wait and see. If he pulls on a red and white shirt he has my support and we should show patience.
 
Why do people think we have a chanceof getting Rhodes? He is out of our price range, as some sensible posters have stated.

Exactly getting abit of a banger and doing it up can be far more rewarding and cheaper to carry on the analogy!

Rather not get a Banger, getting a brand new mini and putting nos in it would be fine with me.
