    Mignolet

    Bardsley, JOS, Bramble, Rose

    Colback,

    Larsson, Gardner, Vaughan, Sessegnon

    Graham

Subs: Westwood, Killgallon, Mangane, NDiaye, Johnston, Wickham, Mcclean.

Drop Johnston; play Larsson in his best position; get Gardner and Vaughan in the middle together; Colback to protect the back 4; and Graham up top.

There are goals in that team and plenty of steel. Might sneak a point?

Might get stuffed either way mind. Lol

I can see you getting a 0-0 or a 1-1 and at a real push perhaps a 1-0 but i don't see goals in that team to be honest. Plenty of steel though and at this stage of the season and in that kind of match thats what you want.

United have been ruthless this season even when playing badly but they may take their foot of the gas now they're almost home. Bloody unlikely though. I think even if you lose so long as you play with passion and get stuck in to them it could be a confidence boost, there's no shame in losing so long as you compete (which we didn't when United came to us!!).

We are expected to get beat so I will stick with my team I posted on the original post.

Lets shock everybody and play all our forwards get DG, Connor, Mandron, AJ + Sess upfront. Lets bypass midfield cos its f*cking crap 5-0-5 that's the way to go in this game.
Even with a weakened team their is absolutely no pressure on Man U so they can afford to just have Chico upfront, Valencia & Young on the wings, Anderson & Giggs in the middle. What a weakened bloody team eh.

The only goals I see there are from Man U mate, Gardener is our best hope of a goal as long as its from 12 yards out, when was the last time a penalty was awarded against Man U again?
Having said that my heart has over ruled my head 2-1 to the lads, (and no not drunk YET).

Reckon we'll get tonked, because just as talc just said the only time we look like scoring is from a penalty. On the bloody telly as well

Sess is a doubt with a groin strain. 4-2-3-1 I reckon with Graham leading the line. Bardsley will be brought in at rb and Gardner will play centre mid. If Sess doesn't start I think he'll play McClean and Johnson wide with Seb in the middle.

Without sess we are finished, it is up to Johnson, Mclean etc to get their fingers out and stop talking a good match and do it. It will be interesting if fergy puts a reserve team out though and i reckon we will win. Yes and gardener in midfield is a better option, get Mangane in lets see what he can do, but start Whickham and Graham.

    Bardo....o'shea....cuellar....rose
    Seb.....gardner.....n'dai.....mcclean

Let Johnson tuck in behind Graham as he's done **** all on the wing all season, as it looks like sessegnon might miss out due to injury
Subs: Westwood, Titus, mangane, kilgallon, colback, vaughan, Wickham

We need to play our best team, which MON sometimes doesn't do (remind you of a fat geordie)...

But I would play this team:

    .....................Mig...................

    Bardo.....Mangane....JOH.....Rose

    .................N'Diaye...................
    .......Gards..............Colback........

    .....Johnson..............McClean.......
    ...................Graham...................

This is basically a 4-3-3. We need to attack UTD. There defence hasn't been the best this season. Forget about the f**king counter attack football.

The allows the midfield to hold the ball & pass it around...with Johnson & Mcclean helping Graham in attack.

Play 4-5-1 we will get f**ked because their attack is good (even the reserves). As the old saying goes:

Attack is the best form of defence.

    4 3 3 will see us thrashed 5 or 6.

We need to get out of the next 2 games with a semblance of credibility of being a team capable of staying up. 2 right royal humpings will demoralise fans and players alike and we can't afford that.

The issue with attacking Utd is that if you score they will sub on better players and really go for the throught. You're probably better off defending deep and hitting them on the break, it would be better to be 0-0 after 70 mins than 1-0 up after 10 mins in my opinion.
