Wellington nem Adem halilovic Obviously we've been linked to a few established names but most strike me s being downright ridiculous. I would prefer we concentrate on a dm and a striker (and zaha). However it must be taken into account that the youth budget is separate and we déjà n illiev aside we bought in zero prospects during the summer. I guess what I mean to say is I wouldn't get your hopes up with regard to a marquee signing this winter aside from maybe a striker.
Akpom has come in very recently (after Summer) as a Youth Prospect. Eisfeld was signed last January for a paltry 300k from Dortmund. Jenkinson was effectively a Youth Player. I realise these are a slightly different type as Eisfeld & Jenks were 19ish when signed, but the scouts are still looking for Youth. In my opinion there's too many Youth Players on the books and they need to be cut significantly. Why are Watt & Eastmond etc. still on the books!? Severe cutting needs to happen to allow the next generation to come through. Those that clearly aren't going to make it need to be offloaded sooner rather than later.
