If anyone thought that our win at Fulham end of last season was revenge for their hammering us 1-4, then think again. This win is even sweeter because it really shows how far we have come since the dark days in the first months of our return to the Championship.
Quite an amazing result on Saturday. I'm still not going to get carried away, and I still refuse to back us to finish anywhere near the top of the league. We are a work in progress, and we will still get plenty of setbacks I reckon. But for once, even old sceptical me, thinks that maybe, just maybe, we are building something special down in BS3 but it might take a year or two more to come to fruition. Now if we can only start with 3 more points tomorrow, that would be awesome.
It will probably be close, I predicted city 4th but my heart said top end of mid table so plumbed for 6th!.....
