Not by the performance, I'm proud of that. We played well, looked a harsh sending off too given both bookings were soft, both picked up in an opposing half with no attacking threat what so ever and the 2nd looked like he played the ball(though I'd need to see a replay) . And not by the the dreadful officiating, even though it's some of the worst I've ever seen, between a very harsh sending off to not allowing a substitution but make M'Villa stay off the pitch for no reason for a moment before he realised he'd made yet another dreadful mistake or allowing play to commence with a manager 15 yards on the the pitch. It's not for me to feel embarrassed on behalf of the ref. It's the first time I've sat north of the halfway line for many a season and that's what embarrassed me. The shower of **** who dare to call themselves a supporter, the lazy, helf arsed ****s who couldn't be arsed to clap let alone get off their arses, yet manage to bounce in celebration at the mags getting beat. I saw half our problem today. Spineless, pathetic half arsed fans. Reduce the capacity to 20k and let the people in who can be arsed to ****ing support their team I say. The north stand are pathetic, couldn't even be bothered to be the 11th man when we went down to 10. ****ing shameful. I don't include senior citizens in this, they've earned the right sit and enjoy the game and put their health first, but they're distributed all around the ground. The North stand made me ashamed to support Sunderland today, and I made no secret of my feelings believe me, and guess what? They didn't have the backbone to stand up to me let alone their team. Sad sad day for me. Despite the pride the men on the pitch gave me. Everything wrong with SAFC for me today was entirely fan based. Sorry but it's just my opinion on the most sterile experience of my life.
