Just lifted off the BBC Transfer Gossip blog: -

    1217:
    LATEST TRANSFER GOSSIP
BBC Radio 5 live's chief football reporter Ian Dennis: "One to watch. West Ham looking at loan deal for Roger Johnson at Wolves. His deal just expired at Sheffield Wednesday."

Now you all thought it would be about Malky didn't you?

I would be pleased to see Jolly Rog against us on Saturday. He has had a bad couple of years since leaving Birmingham and I would like to see him do well - just not next Saturday.

The above item is warming up: -

    LATEST TRANSFER GOSSIP
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett confirms transfer-listed defender Roger Johnson, 30, is close to joining Premier League strugglers West Ham on loan.

"It is just a loan deal at the moment and the finances are structured around him playing - how many appearances he makes and whether they are successful," Jackett tells the Express and Star.

"It's a really good opportunity for him because he's going to a Premier League club."

He has now signed for the Spammers and is likely to play against us on Saturday. Hope he does the Ayatollah for us again.

He might have his hands full if OGS sets up with the team that finished against Newcastle.

CB is probably one of the hardest positions to be thrown in cold. Strikerrs, Midfield and full back can be caught out of position and have some cover. A CB can be cruelly exposed.
