I know AK sometimes posts Icelandic results and others follow teams in the remote Scottish backwaters so perhaps a thread to show we're keeping up with local stuff as well as our beloved Watford.

So, here's mine to kick off:

Eastleigh Borough 1 Macclesfield 0 (a well-worked winner to keep the team unbeaten)

    Fort William 2-1 Deveronvale.

Always had a soft spot for Fort William, they're usually rooted to the foot of the Highland League table but over the past few months they've had a mild upsurge in results!

I don't really follow the league in Jersey as it's basically Sunday League level. As much as I hate to say it, I think we should follow Guernsey's lead and put a team in the English league system. However, the island ladies side played Godalming Town Ladies on Friday night and won 10-1. The half-time score was 3-0.

As ferries go there, I decided to have a look at what level of football there is in St. Malo. They are in CFA Group D, which is the 4th tier of French football which has 64 teams in 4 groups and there are quite a few of the reserve sides of the Ligue 1 teams at that level. Union Sportive Saint-Malo (USSM) have had a good start to the season, drawing 0-0 at Lorient reserves then winning 2-0 at home to FC Flury

OFH, are the points in CFA 4-2-1 instead of 3-1-0? Also, looking at the columns on the table (PTS JO G N P F Bp Bc Pé Dif) what do F and Pé mean?

KA moved to third position after winning 0:4 against BÍ/Bolungarvík. Goals were from Ævar Ingi Jóhannesson (3+18), Elfar Árni Aðalstieinsson (15) and Jóhann Helgason (87) scored the goals. Jóhann was also cautioned and there was a massive attendance of 40 watching.

In the top three divisions the 3-1-0 applies, but when you go down the leagues 4-2-1 is used. Not sure what the F and Pé are for, but local leagues set their own rules and it maybe something to do with some incentive to score goals. I will keep my eyes open, but my local ones do not use them.

I keep an eye out for

Swansea - went there on holiday as a kid (stayed with relatives - cheap) so has good memories and they nearly upset Liverpool in a FA cup semi a long time ago.

Southampton - went to the Dell whilst at uni there.

Nice to see all my teams doing ok in the Prem and playing good football and now being run properly.

Usually check the Wealdstone result too, used to live in North Harrow in my school days. Lucky I moved to Harrow from Acton before I was old enough to be interested in football otherwise I could be a QPR supporter :(

I have absolutely no interest in Scottish football.

    France: Lens
    Germany: St Pauli
    Scotland: Hearts
All three of the above I have been to see.

Our cousins Udinese and Granada, hopefully I'll get over to Udinese this season and Granada after that.

Aldershot 1 Eastleigh Borough 2...no compensation for no goal and no points for the Hornets but a little local pleasure derived!

Lived in Stoke on Trent for 3 years and watched them and Port Vale quite a bit. Also watch out for the results of Taunton Town - also lived in Somerset for about 13 years before coming to Germany. My German club is St. Pauli (lived in Hamburg for 20 years) - also go to watch FC. Cologne sometimes because some neighbours have season tickets. My Spanish club is not Granada but Athletic Bilbao (this is for political reasons ie. they are run as a cooperative and I like their player recruitment policy). I have no interest in Italian football. I tend to wish well to all clubs which are supporter owned because I want that ownership model to work eg. Portsmouth, Exeter.

AK - HK 3:0 Elfar Árni Aðalsteinsson scored two goals at 40 and 89 minutes and Josip Serdarusic at 60 minutes.

KA are now in second seat with three matches to play. Next is visiting Víkingur Ólafsvík which is the first team then Grindavík and then playing Þór which is the other Akureyri local team.

    Hornets 0-2
    Udinese 0-1
Granada 2-0 up at the moment, a silver lining.
    Hearts 2-3
    St. Pauli 0-1

    Lens play tomorrow.

    Not a great weekend :emoticon-0101-sadsm

USSM keep their unbeaten start going with a 2-1 win away at Tressilac and are 3rd. Saw that both Hemel and St Albans lost on Saturday - they play each other today at St Albans.
