Got a U in computing, however for some reason my business result was on another bit of paper, and just found out that I got a B which has made it a lot better. Costs £25 for a re-sit though!

I am about to take GCSE Japanese.

Been 6 year since I last took them. Never noticed how bad my handwriting has become!!

If I fail this, I have to pay £225 to University of Cambridgeshire... Urgh.

Is that A Level? I did AVCE ICT. I wanted to drop it after the first year but they told me I couldn't because it was a two year course, so I did terribly in it on purpose so they had no choice but to let me drop it. It cost me a few UCAS points, but spared my mental health.

I took GCSE Maths 5 times. Algebra was never my strong point but I worked out that E + 4D = C so I passed.

mine was 78% to 55%, 2 % off an A in Business and 3% of an E in computing, couldn't believe that you needed 58% for an E...

That's alright mate. Alot of people struggle with IT. Don't know why, just some sort of mental block.

Seen some exceedingly bright people fall flat on their face.

Just keep playing with them, studying the material and don't be affraid of messing the system up. The worst case is that you'll need a rebuild, which would be good XP anyway :)

Good luck for the re-sit and gratz on the business module!

Unlucky fella! Know how you feel though, I got my ACCA results back a couple of weeks ago for 3 exams I did in December.... passed 1 and failed 2 which is more than a little bit annoying!

At least I get to re-sit them in the summer but it's out of my own pocket (£80 a pop, yay!) and if I fail any of the next 5 I take there's a strong chance I'll get sacked from my job. Awesome :emoticon-0149-no:

Not to worry, the B is spot on!

I did sociology Alevel and was consistently top of the class, sitting on a mid-strength A then in my final exam I got a U (bottom of the class) and knocked me down to a B overall...I was in America for the summer and our school had a policy where you had to go in personally to get the paper remarked so I ended my Alevels with AAB...Always hurt to this day.

As for bizzare ranges in marks, got my January marks back for final year at Uni a few weeks ago, got a high First in creative writing and a low 3rd in Language and Narrative Style...Its all about averages!
