Of course we will. And another game handed to the opposition by crap players. But well done the baggies.

But what gets me is that gloating smug prat who now manages the Baggies now. He tore a massive hole in our confidence and season and then gloats about it whilst he took us for £45 a day!

    But there's always next season...:emoticon-0111-blush

Ech. can't legislate for two defensive injuries and two penalties. And we had more players than WBA away for the internationals, which showed.

We've never argued Roy can't manage home games. It won't bring back the media calls for him to get the England job. They can build this up because it's a hook to hang a story on but they're not stupid. Okay, they are but they still don't want him as England manager anymore.

****ing pathetic that. West Brom are **** but were worthy winners.

Dirk is absolute horse **** in games like this unless he's playing up front. No point picking Soto any more. Not good enough, not going to be here beyond this season, may as well put Andre Wisdom in there as we have nothing to lose anymore.

Suarez was the only hope we had of doing anything there. Embarrassing how reliant we were on him producing something. I don't want to see Wilson at left back anymore either. Distribution is awful, he offers nothing that Jack Robinson wouldn't.

So sick of watching us lose to the dregs of the league, I'm just absolutely fed up of it. Every **** team in the country has beaten us.

I thought Lucas and Spearing were both neat and tidy and kept the ball moving. They also closed people down and I didn't think West Brom's midfield gave us any problems.

It was the pace of the striker that was our undoing, and there's not much our midfield can do about that. Just like there's not much they can do about the complete lack of anything in wide areas. Most attacks just break down when they reach whoever it is stood on the touchline, be it midfielder or full back.

Not saying Lucas and Spearing were anything special, but they weren't our problem in my opinion.

It's glaringly obvious when watching our u18 side play that it's having class and pace out wide makes all the difference. Coady and Roddan don't do much more than what you'd see from Lucas and Spearing, but they've got people like Sterling, Silva and Suso to give the ball to. All of them can beat players and make things happen.

The first teamers are giving it to Dirk, Maxi, Cole, Meireles etc, none of whom have any pace and none of whom can take players on. It makes a massive difference.

I don't really know what more the likes of Lucas and Spearing could have done today given how our team was set up. They get it, they give it, they make themselves available for it again. If they aren't doing that, or if they're giving it away all the time, then I'll point the finger at them. I don't see that as the case today though.

Get better players out wide and I doubt if people will be complaining about what our central midfielders are doing. I may be wrong of course, but we won't know unless we get some good widemen in.

And Kelly is almost as much of a crock as Agger. Not at that level yet, but he's had injuries every year and misses quite a lot of games. Hopefully he'll grow out of it, but I wouldn't be pinning any of my hopes on him being a first team regular until he shows he can stay fit.

Thought Wilson was a bit better second half, but he does randomly just launch it when there are other options. Also, he takes so long to release the ball when he's on the touchline. Lost count of the amount of throw ins he won because WBA players cut out passes he tried to play too late.

Not a full back, probably a promising centre half though based on what I've seen.

Keny has time to find all this cr@p out, he has to asses the entire team and this will take till the end of the summer.

I am willing to wait. There has been a lot of turmoil and it takes time for everything to start to come together.

it is annoying for me mainly because Spurs are so catchable and all we have to do is put 5 or 6 wins together to catch em, so many oppertunities have we had to close that gap, we should have passed them by in Jan. But under the circumstances we have to Kop on. Staff will change again in the summer and there'll be time to get settled and organised.

Not a great performance, but well done WBA they deserved more from the game we won earlier this season 1 0. Well done Roy I hope it works out for him there as his bad time here was not his own doing for the most part, things conspired against him a bit.

Still, lookng forward to the next match already. I also have a lot of time for spearing, the more first team footy he gets in this blown season the better, tbh Kenny is better served usng the remaining games to try players ect

And folks, two forced subs early on will really mess up your game plan, Sunderland?

Exactly. You can have half way decent central midfielders and be successful.Liverpool in the 80s didn't really have top class central midfielders,Okay they were mobile, but that was about it.Liverpool had decent width, one one side,as Craig Johnston was unbelievably quick.Ronnie Whelan was a converted central midfielder, and played wide left, even though he was right footed. Then again so was Beckham.Look at Ray Houghton, not a natural winger, but he could bomb into the box,the speed came from Barnes.I reckon Liverpool need raw greasy fast speed one onside and trickery on the other.
And I wouldn't call Carrick,Anderson or Fletcher, top class either. But Man Uniteds overall strength comes from wide areas, thats why they are top of the league. They stretch teams by using an outlet.
We were successful in 2008/2009 by using Benayoun and Riera.Benayoun was tricky and Riera hugged the touchline.Okay neither of these two are Valencia and Ronaldo, but look what a difference having widemen does.Benayoun was a Ray Houghton/Ronnie Whelan type player.I reckon Liverpool could put Dani Pacheco on oneside and sign a speed merchant for the other,or better still sign two wingers. But both need to be different.
The beginning of Liverpool needs to be in the summer, and this is paramount. Two wingers and a left back. This is vital. These are necessary additions. The rest can be replacements.
I read a report and this came up on my facebook page, that as many as 7 players will be shipped out in the summer.I disagree with that,I would include Aurelio in that too,as he's too old and he's injury prone.I would also include Kyriagkos as he's too old too.

The performance wasn't good enough. It shows that we need new players in the summer transfer window. Wingers are a must. But well done West Brom. You deserved it.

I've been saying we need a center back for a while now and that performance really highlights it. Neither Soto or Skrtel are good enough and both should be sold in the summer.
