I just feel he seems to be exhausted of late. I think he deserves a rest some time soon with eisfeld being given a crack as am.
I don't see him being rested anytime soon, our next league games are crucial, and so is the midweek champs game against Montpellier, we might even have to start him away to Olympiacos if we need to get something from that game, only game I see him being rested for is next month's away cup game at Bradford. It'd be good if he didn't play much in the midweek internationals, so that'd be a good's week rest for him before the Spurs game.
Perhaps he could 'pick up an injury' before the international break, so as to get a rest before playing the racists
i would rest him, except we have no one available to replace him. with diaby, rosicky, ramsey?, and now wilshere out, we have to play him to keep our midfield up to par. but i agree, after his great start to life at arsenal, he has rescinded massively over the last few weeks, and only produces moments of magic occasionally now.
ARSHAVIN!!! I think he could do with a breather and swansea at home is an ideal spot. Stick Arsh at AM where defensive responsibility is least and Fulham play a relatively free flowing and open style so we shouldn't have to worry as much about congestion (i do believe him ros and Caz are our best magic ball/ through ball passers and that is what we will need). My team if we rest santi Vito Sagna Mert Kos TV Arteta Coq Arsh Wal Gir Pod If we dont Vito Sagna Mert Kos TV Arteta Coq Caz Wal Pod Arsh
One thing these playmakers need (stating the obvious I know) is rest. Mata has looked a different player since having that 2 week rest during the break. I'm sure Cazorla would benefit as much as well and be fresh for your game with Spurs (which is, crucial)
I would have said rest him on tomorrow but now that jack is suspended he has to start. I think that because of the great impact he has had on the team since his arrival it's easy to forget that he has come into a new league where the pace is alot faster than la liga. And in the form we are in right now we can't really afford to be resting our best players. When other players return from injury then he will get a rest then, these internationals are really coming at a bad time. And i just checked the fixtures there are 8 games in december, 7 of which are league/champs league matches. Then in january we have man city chelsea and liverpool in that order, so it is going to be difficult to see where he could be rested. As i said in the form we are in, it's difficult to start him from the bench or bring him off with 30 minutes to go because we are usually still chasing the match. Apart from that the only way i see him being rested is if we have a change of formation which is highly unlikely to happen.
Now that Rosicky is back in full training and I think we can afford to start resting Santi when he is back (Two weeks?). But for now we need him.
