Strange how The Hull Daily Mail arent covering the reserves tonight on Twitter. Is it not news now or just Phil Buckingham's night off?

Can't find anything online, though I think there's a chance that Holohan got one...

Gav_Hollleeerr Gavan Holohan
Great 4 1 win away to gateshead bagged again hittin bit of form well done boys

Two goals for Emerton, one each for Holohan and McElroy. Gateshead scored first with header following a cross from Brian Marwood's son apparently.

i still find it amazing that, according to the Hull Daily Mail a reserves match is news on a Tuesday or a Wednesday but not on a Monday!

I still find it amazing that our reserves are stuck in a league playing the reserve teams of non league teams and then we're surprised they don't make the step up very often.

maybe someone like andy dawson may take charge of the reserves. a good place for daws to start his coaching duties ?

i would myself like to see wayne brown brought back for reserves and defensive coach to help bring on the likes of Bradley and Cooper. these 2 could save city alot of money. both need good coaching and brown did a great job with turner in the past.

Unlikely I know, but I wonder whether there could ever be a future youth coaching role for Ashbee at City. With Pearson gone I doubt Barmby would have a problem with him and Ashbee does have a lot of experience. I also think Ashbee will have a soft spot for City even after his abrupt exit. I for one would welcome him back as long as he doesn't bring the strange idiot boy Bullard with him.

I reckon Ash's bridges are well burned. To me its a boot room promotion for either Neil Mann or John Eyre. What price Deano to return at a youth development level if he could stand the reduction in earnings?

I'd rather he went elsewhere, and that's not an anti-Deano sentiment. I don't think it's best for his coaching to start either here or Bradford where he's such a big personality with the fans. It undermines the manager, and I just get the impression he likes the attention too much to be able to focus on the role properly instead of laughing and joking with fans and parents (they'll be dropping kids off and it'll be time to collect them again before he's finished reminiscing with them). Give him a few years at a club where he doesn't have a cult following to develop his coaching in an environment that will be more suitable for him to do that, and then when he's picked up the skills we can bring him in.
