Just something that sprung to my mind recently - do you think Sven will enter LCFC into a Reserve League this season? If my memory serves me correctly, we haven't been entered into a proper reserve league for a couple of years now, meaning limited playing time for our fringe and squad players. I firmly believe this has hurt us, particularly last season, when players like Waghorn and others who were lacking in match practice and/or confidence could've thrived having been given a run of reserve games and then being eased into the first team to prove themselves. So, two questions - Do you think we'll enter a reserve league? And how much do you think this will benefit the squad as a whole?
Hoos was saying that loaning players out to play competitive league footie is worth a lot more than the reserve leagues.
...doesn't really matter what we think it's the boys who run it all who has the say, if they don't like it, we don't get it, seems a shame though as a reserve team would build a good club / team spirit..
