Hi, Recent reseach conducted by the Social Technological Department at Rome University found that 87% of forum users use an alter ego when conversing. This co-insides with 82% of forum users who would rather poke fun at people than have a debate or civil conversation. The research also proved that the the vast majority of users took themselves too seriously and react badly when another user poked fun at them. I think the problem is with the likes of your forums that there are not enough decent posters to drown out the kiddies. The likes of the Newcastle board seems to have got it right, nobody really listens or takes notice of minority of arseholes.
