Just wondered if anyone could help me. I know that you can request ante-post prices for a horse not currently listed in a specific race market with major firms like Bet365 etc.
For example, the Triumph hurdle is one at the moment where only a few horses are listed, and if I wanted a price on a different horse, I could request one.
However, is it possible to do this on Betfair?
Obviously you would need someone to match your bet, but is it possible if the horse is not already listed?
Because obviously there has to be some lay money on the horse for you to be able to back it, so someone somewhere decides who goes in the ante-post lists, surely?
