    Translated:

"Chelsea are determined to hire Radamel Falcao, and the second point in the "Telemadrid", prepares to offer the pass from Fernando Torres and 15 million to Atletico Madrid for the international competition in Colombia. Both advanced to the respective clubs are tied up 2016, however, with termination clauses in anything similar. Who wants to hire el niño Chelsea will have to spend, save Roman Abramovich opening of trading in Spanish by a lower amount, no less than 160 million euros, while those interested in el tigre will hit the 65 million under the contract with the Colombian colchoneros . Signed from Liverpool in January 2011 for about 60 million, Fernando Torres slow to justify the large investment of blues . Have Radamel Falcao, for whom Atletico Madrid paid 40 million euros to FC Porto in the final closure, demonstrated its potential scorer on debut season in Spain. news updated"

He's 30 this year and would cost a fortune, you'd be better off with Falcao. Athletico paid £35 million for him so he will cost a lot.

I think you'd be mad not to, Torres has improved of late but with Drogba gone is he reliable enough to be the main man?

Would be a good deal for Chelsea but not so good for Atletico.

    Luv<ok>

Even your lot admit that the team needed to be built around fernando, and when it was he was awesome.

    Same with us.

With Drogba out of the way then we would need to address how we are structured on the pitch...Lukaku does pose a threat to Torres in as much as we can build with an untried man mountain to replace another, but I reckon roman will have other plans...

Right on SW6 Without Drogba, we will need a serious rethink on our style of play and the players to do, it to match Torres' strengths. Which is why Torres struggles with our long ball game. Great through passes from Mata, Kalou and David Luiz in earlier games showed what Torres can do with good service.
This is what AVB realised and tried to fix and why when shafted, we put ourselves back to square one, and lost a whole season of opportunity. Too many look to blame one manager and praise another, when the issue goes much deeper than this.
I hope Roman does have other plans, because this one is not working, simply showing in flashing lights what is wrong.

Give me Torres every day. Lukaku offers a different option if needed but we need to build this team around Torres & Mata IMO!

It's interesting that you lot are starting to have a lot of faith in Torres, he has shown signs of the player he was and a bit of faith from the fans and manager may make him turn that corner.

The majority of fans love him mate, I suppose there are a few who were getting peed off but no-one can dispute the fact that he puts in an awful lot of work on the pitch.

Fact remains that Drogba is one of the best big games players around and is pretty much irreplaceable by Torres, Falcao or whoever.

Once Drogba goes we will need to adjust our style a little and there is no reason to suggest Falcao will do any better a job than Torres who has recently shown some real moments of class. I say keep Torres and focus on bringing in more flair to open things up for him. Marin is a good start and one of either Hazard, Lavezzi or Hulk to play maybe right side with Mata in the middle. Lamps and Ramieres in the centre, job done.
