What do people think then? Are we in the wrong or are Sochaux being pathetic?

I personally think we are in the wrong, and it wouldn't surprise me if NUFC have got in touch with the player, who they know wants to come, and persuaded him to go on strike so we can get him cheaper.

May sound far-fetched to some of the simple minded amongst you but think about it, NUFC are never willing to pay more than £6m for a player, and if they can persuade a player to go on strike to try and get him cheaper, they will do it. Its Mike Ashley after all. Would it surprise you?

Sochaux wouldn't report us for nothing, they have obviously been told something and for them to go to FIFA means that there is more to it than we have been told. They may be annoyed with their player Maiga, but I do seriously believe we are advising him to do all of these things, wait a week, bid less and try get him on the cheap.

We get a fantastic result at the weekend, and then the **** starts hitting the fan once again. Nothing is ever ****ing simple.

I think it Sochaux trying to stitch us up. Saying weve tapped him up even tho weve probably done it properly and now trying to get some money without losing the player

Sounds very plausible, listening to Super MaC on Friday night he recons they value him at £9-10m and Newcastle have offered £3m!!!!!!

Aye, and by knowing the player wants to come, in what way would we get him cheaper? If he pissed them off, refused to play basically forcing them to sell.

We've been reported by Charlton as well for the same thing! They value Elliott in the millions yet Newcastle offered somewhere in the region of a £10 Sports Direct voucher!
