I've said a few times that although Pardew is almost certainly living on borrowed time and there are some torrid times behind and in front of us I would like to give him the first half of the season before hounding him out.

Just been looking on the Sunderland board and they have a list of potential managers to vote for and I'll be honest none of them are inspiring - I don't see the point in getting rid of Pardew unless a) we NEED to change to freshen it up and avoid relegation b) there is a better person to come in and take over. I'm not convinced either is true. I also quite like the fact we have one of the longest serving managers in the premiership.

There is no point whatsoever in changing the manager. The replacement would still have the dead weight of Ashley/Kinnear on them and that is the real virus in the club.

    This.

The question has to come down to who would you replace him with? Who is out there who is proven to be A) better and B) willing to work for these tools?

It would be another Pardew-type, a man desperate for a Premier League chance and happy to say YES to every inane, bonkers decision.

That man will inevitably be Joe Kinnear anyway so the question becomes utterly pointless. He's not even the best desperate dinosaur has-been out there!

Be careful what you wish for, and remember few would have wished for Derek Llambias staying as Director during his iffy tenure...

The place is corrupt, rotting, a shadow of what is was. Crime reigns. What we need is a symbol, something that inspires and creates fear, which allows our enemies to share our dread...

And with that, I'm off to the Bat-lair... Where's Obi? I need someone with tiny hands to help me get into my trunks...

    Think Obi's having computer trouble.

Hmmmm... AB, do you have a penchant for fighting crime in dazzling and sexuality revealing attire? I'm accepting CVs ;)

I should note that you don't get holiday pay, the sexy domino mask does not prevent jizz induced facial stains, and you have to provide you're own sound effects...

If you can cope with that, meet me outside Tash's house. After the Cardiff game I heard there was rumours of a potential explosion in the area.

Afraid not, I think it's ACS that's up to that kind of thing.
