This is something that pisses me off in football. Graham gets booked for moaning at the ref which is fair enough but Nolan is allowed to moan at him on three seperate occasions and gets away with it. Yhe difference of course is that Nolan was already booked. So basically he was rewarded for his late and frankly dangerous challenge on Rosenior with leniency for the rest of the game. I any other scenario a repeat offender is worse. In football we go easy on them? Why is that?

He served his one game ban during the league cup.

He was lucky not to have a straight red.

You are right, there is the concept of a "second yellow" which is a lot harder to get than a first.

The most frustrating thing is that players know its harder to get and act accordingly. Nolan, one week on from getting two yellows, gets a yellow 8 minutes into a game, yet knows he's fine to get into the ref's face.

    It stinks.

It was Noble that was sent off, but as was said he served it in the cup game.

The main reason Nolan won't be booked is because i believe the captains are allowed to speak to the referee, Evra does it every game for United and never gets booked as does John Terry.

Grahams was a booking he hit the lino with the ball. Mind you it was a foul on him in the first place.

It's like our pen , it looked harsh to be awarded as a pen usually results in a goal .. but it was a foul .
I see inconsistent decisions with goalkeeper challenges. More of a bug bare
Keepers can lead with a high knee any time they like

It also grates me that in this case the only talk is of it being a soft penalty - Allardyce even suggesting it was pure simulation. There was contact, however slight - that is not allowed, therefore it was a penalty. Soft perhaps, but still a penalty.

In the first game of the season, Torres jumps down long before contact with Chester for the freekick that gave the first goal, yet he's not called a cheat, it's just one of those things we have to live with.

Graham was booked for throwing the ball at the lino... That's always going to get you booked.

I hear you, but it's difficult to ref. Strictly speaking,if the defender plays the attacker, rather than the ball,it's a pen.

I'm with you, it's a strange one, very difficult for the ref. I'm happy we got it, but I'd be pissed if they had!

Didn't realise Graham threw the ball at the ref but I wasn't questioning his booking anyway.

Nolan did the exact same thing last time we played them at the KC; dirty tackles and moaning at the ref.

Re contact and diving, I think if you choose to go down it's cheating regardless of the contact. Sagbo was embarrassing rolling around in the corner late on.

Graham got booked 'cos he chucked the ball at the linesman whilst he complained.

It was Noble who got the red card for West Ham last week, not Nolan.

Nolan was whinging first 20 mins, then calmed down. I was frustrated, 'cos I wanted him to get sent off.

    Anyway, great afternoon.

Yeah, Nolan was a twat last time too. I hate him for another team, but he is a good player and would rather him be playing for us than against us.
