Rep thread

Lets have a rep thread and see how long before mags come on begging

 

People have been kicking off when they've come over recently. Not a good idea to invite them like that. Some of our angrier posters will have a fit.

 

Fair enough but im proving a point

That they cant live without rep

 

You're not proving anything, they are very open about there love of rep, and that's their choice.

It's just banter the way they use it.

 

What does rep mean

 

Reputation.

It's meant to show that people respect your posts, but the Mags just use it as a bit of banter.

Harmless fun like.

I think a lot do. It's why you've got those four green bars under your name. I might get told I'm a dick by some of our posters but if someone says something I think is spot on or entertaining I use rep.

 

Me too, I give it, generally, because I think it's a good post.

 

For me, reputation means if someone new comes along they can respect an answer from someone with rep power of 40 over someone with a rep power of 4, if they are 2 completely different answers to their questions.

the mags have blown this completely out of the water, so WUMs and good posters a like look the same.

 

I use rep like that on the Pool board
