My heart says buy my head says no: Why no: We can't compete in the transfer market i.e. Graham goes to Swansea, Routledge goes back to Newcastle. Tarrabt could be on his way. Most of the players we are linked with don't fill me with hope. We have 12 million kitty to but players in the Premier League. What to do??
I don't buy a ST anyway due to my work, but if I did I'd hold back, those two creeps just piss me off...
I know how you feel I personally feel that the only way to get these two clowns out is Fan Power, after they've hopefully gone buy one then
Me and five pals used to go a lot over the years but had to cut down due to finance, work, families ets so this season we've decided to share two seats between six, we are going to seed the teams then draw lots to see who gets first pick, works out at six games each, still £252 each though, sure I paid that for my own ticket in league one!!
That's a great post. I think a lot of loyal fans have to do this nowadays, ( sadly ) I think it's the way ahead to stop the 'Johnny come latelys' getting hold of season tickets.
I do not think it matters if "Johnny come latelys" buys a ST. He will not be here next year when we are back in the Champs;
I've renewed but I can't say yet whether that was the right decision...what I can say is that if the Goons treat the club badly and the fans disrespectfully, I'll be at every "Goons Out" demonstration that's organised...
I've renewed. I renewed the day the fixtures came out! Was a lot of money. Im still hopeful we'll sign the players to justify the increase
First let me say that I've never been in a position to have a season ticket, and probably never will. It would be great if absolutely no one did renew, but that will not happen. Therefore I would advise all of you that can afford it to renew, you may not get another chance to see QPR in the Premier League. I know it seems like giving money to the Goons, but you will kick yourselves black and blue if you miss out.
I'm not sure if many "Johnny come latelys" will get hold of season tickets, as they're going on sale to Members from next Tues. I'd be surprised if there are many left, if any to go on general sale.
Does anyone know how many we have sold? We had around 8000 season ticket holders last year. I cant imagine every person has renewed.
I will renew for myself and my son. He is 25 and can't really remember QPR playing in the Premiership, although he did see a few games from about the age of 8. It's just too good an opportunity to see QPR back in the top flight so we can't pass it up. In a pathetic little gesture, I have left renewal until tomorrow to register some sort of protest but it's going to cost me £1500 for the privilege (he can't afford to pay for himself). Whilst it grates a little that some new faces have jumped onto our bandwagon, I can't mind the "Johnny-come-lately's" too much because we need new faces if we are to get big enough crowds to survive in the Premiership in the longer term. I myself was a Johnny-come-lately back in February 1967 when I became a supporter during the run up to the League Cup Final. And I'm still here...
Same scenario as me, however even IF! we don't sign any quality players that will not detract me from looking forward to seeing my beloved Hoops back in the Premier League just like before Bloody sublime!!!! anyway I think we'll sign Boothroyd!
northlondonqpr I have just renewed my season ticket for next year and am asking myself if I have done the right thing, I am looking forward to seeing the R's in the Premier league but some how seem to lack the enthusiasm.
I have renewed. But not before giving it almost a month of thought. I have convinced myself that I am saving money as buying tickets on a match by match basis would be even more expensive.
