im slightly disappointed by Rendell's departure. I hear on the grapevine he wasnt happy being farmed out on loan last season and not being given a fair crack in LG1. I feel for 'Ruth' - he had some tragic personal things to deal with during his time with us and its a tribute to him that he was our leading scorer in the same season. Would have like to have kept him but I wonder if he requested to leave. I wish him well, good player.
He was a £125k signing, quite a large sum in our recent history. My money is on that this is a wages saving exercise. If he came in for relatively big money, one would assume that his wages must be up there with the highest earners.

He has had a difficult time on and off the pitch over the last 18 months and he proved the transfer fee when he had a good first season unfortunately personal circumstances seemed to affect his play and then was shipped out, I hoped he would be able to come back. I wich him Well at Luton and hope the fresh start gives him the chance to come back strong.
