Just said during half time in the Man United V Liverpool game he is flying to Newcastle now. He rejected even meeting Harry, must have big ambitions going to a team that has won nothing in over 50 years.

Lets hope he is a big flop.

If he thinks he's too big a player to come and fight for us then a) I don't want him at QPR and b) I wonder how he'll fair at an out of form Newcastle side.

We play them at home on 12th May wouldn't it be great if we are above them by then and they need to win to stay up. He plays for them is useless, and they lose getting relegated

He'll have a hard job matching Demba Ba's record, if he doesn't start scoring quickly he'll have the crowd on his back...

Can you blame him for not wanting to sign for a relegation cert team.
Dont worry though, you will no doubt get a couple of 35 + mercenaries
    on a 3 year contract.

QUOTE PARIS: Marseille’s controversial English midfielder Joey Barton wished Loic Remy good luck at his former club Newcastle United on Sunday even though the striker’s transfer has yet to be officially rubberstamped.

Barton, 30, tweeted his best wishes to Remy, who has been sought after by Newcastle and fellow strugglers Queens Park Rangers during the January transfer window.

However, the 26-year-old French international rejected QPR even though they offered double the wages that Newcastle are offering.

“Good luck to Loic Remy in Newcastle. Don’t worry I’ve told him what to expect. Great guy. Perfect club for him,” tweeted Barton, who has built up a massive following on his twitter account.

Remy, capped 17 times, has not been a regular starter for Ligue 1 title contenders Marseille this season but will be joining a Newcastle side that are just two points above the relegation zone, though a drab 0-0 draw at Norwich on Saturday ended a run of four consecutive defeats. -AFP UNQUOTE

Think we're being shafted by Barton from afar

Do you seriously doubt that to someone from abroad QPR looks like a better move than Newcastle? If so, on what basis?
