Being reported liverpool have pulled out of the remy deal sighting medical problems. Guess thi means brendans about to come back in for bony? Unless he doesnt fancy paying nearly 3 times as much as he had planned for a striker
We paid twice as much as we were planning for a striker when we got Bony , and we didnt have half the funds the Reds have ...we got Bony for 12 million , Rodgers got Allen for 15 million ... he still smarting from those facts to get stung by us again ...maybe hell look elsewhere to be wrong ...lol
Well if they do come back into the Bony deal which I doubt, then they are weakened by this in my view, and Huw will play them against Levy at Spurs, and we will hold out for £25 Million at least in my view, but I don't think Jenkins has any intention of selling Bony this season, he needs his blue eyed boy Monk to succeed this season, so I'm not worried in the slightest!..............
Got a feeling Gomis and Fab were bought early on to protect against the presumed loss of Vorm and Bony. I suspect when Liverpool deal didn't happen we encouraged Vorm to leave, not sure he wanted to go. Similar thing may happen with Bony.
The goalkeeping issue was a strange one. I think there was a clear need to improve on last season. Fabianski became available and we picked him up - at the time Vorm seemed surprised by the actions of the Club, which to me suggests it was not his intention to move on. Once Fabianski was signed it became obvious that Vorm would be number 2 if he stayed - so he left. He may as well be number 2 at Spurs rather than a number 2 at the Swans - he will probably get more opportunity to play in Cup games and I assume he is getting paid more, so from his point of view it is the right move. From an outside point of view though, it resembles a constructive dismissal!
Too much Monk bashing on this forum from a few, why? Not difficult to see who realy support our team.

I heard that bony pulled out of yesterdays game not sure how much truth was in it as I thought he ws one if the replacements
So what if bony goes...Its not the end of the world is it....What some fans understand about how football operates you could write on a postage stamp. Do anyone think bony came to us because he loves the club or that it suited him at the time waiting for a bigger and better club.. Players are out for themselves and always have been and always will be, Every club lose players every season even the very big teams that fans moan about but the club and the players don't give a **** what fans think. It is business and how things are done in football....Those who have been a fan for years should know that by now and know that in reality not a lot changes as each and every club field a side like we have done over the years in a new season and the players that have left end up not that important at all at the end of the day....
It would appear Liverpool have ruled out moving in for Bony. Its in the papers so it must be true. After all if Brendan says he wont come in for our players we know he really means it lol!!! http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/492781/Liverpool-rule-OUT-Bony-or-Lukaku-moves-after-Remy-deal-collapses
The £25m for bony has put him off by the look of it He is definitely worth £25m to us but i can also understand why other clubs think its to much of a risk to splash out a vast sum that has only one good season in the premiership. I would have to think twice about it if i was a chairman of another club that's for sure. its good news for us if that is the case but as the window and the season gets closer then clubs may get a bit desperate and take a punt...
My problem is Monk's answer today about Bony is almost identical to Monk's comments about Ben a couple or so weeks ago. I am also convinced Vorm would have been with this season ... until he heard we'd brought in Fabianski. I can't find the clip but Vorm looked genuinely shocked when he was informed by a journalist.
