Didn't want to play for QPR last season because of the world cup and he said he needed to be in the premier league.

How many minutes did he get and what did he contribute?

    Not much.

Hopefully he's few minutes and no goals will make Arsenal (and any other interested parties) reconsider and he'll start the season in hoops, before I'm shot down I know that's very unlikely but stranger things have happened.

It won't make any difference, a proven PL goalscorer for £8 million? They'd be barmy not to take him. Arsenal, Spurs, Everton all need a hitman, he'll end up at one of them...

To be fair, France improved massively when he came on. It was the only time they looked like scoring.

He needs to go, he's a poacher and only a poacher while we need a target man which is more suited to our style. He's suited to arsenals style of creating loads of chances which they miss.

Yes, perfect for arsenal. Staggered they didn't loan him last season instead of the Geordies.

I didn't really fancy France's chances much this afternoon (my family name is Bavarian or so i'm told) but from the little of the match I saw, I thought maybe France deserved at least extra time. Fair play to Remy - the only part of it that i did see was after he'd been subbed in
