I honestly understand why some of the threads have been removed/closed today Although I agree with some who say it is hypocritical in light of whats gone previously, but I acknowledge its easy to say this without having to deal with the headache but my thread entitled 'suicide' was not demeaning and posed a serious question I dont see why that was removed
It wasn't me who removed it, but it was probably best that it was removed. You are right that it did look like an honest and serious question, the problem is you were never going to get a sensible debate on the issue at this particular moment in time.

Like I said I understand its not easy When I wrote the thread it was of course in light of what happened today and yes some people would have descended into stupidity It was an honest question though in all honesty. I understand why you did it (assuming it was you as mick said it wasnt him) Just disappointing that the decent/honest ones have to be removed Some topics are best discussed (imo) at times when something occurs. Some honest debates can be had. I base this on the majority who were outraged with the earlier closed threads

yeah its really sad and shocking never met the fella but always 'liked' him, seemed like an honest bloke I think suicide is the worst thing for a family to handle
It's got to be genocide or holocaust rather than suicide. I'd even put murder further up that list surely. Those other things are out-with the families control. It's must always be harder when you realise there was nothing you could do to stop it. Whereas with suicide you're always asking yourself what you could have done to change it.
Thats why it is HARDER imo. All other things are somebody elses doing, with suicide you blame yourself. Not for th ekilling/dying mybe but not seeing the signs, was it you? etc etc
