With Christmas just around corner, spare a thought, and a couple of bob for those who are homeless and
won't have a Christmas, or Christmas dinner.

What we can learn from some homeless p[eople.

Is this the Worlds most thoughtfull homeless man?

While I have great sympathy for the homeless, I have greater sympathy for the returned service eprsonnel who will be living n the streets this season. I hope the rich politicians (are there any poor ones?) who will be living it large at this time, choke on their turkey and die a horrible death.

I totally understand that Eccers, since joining not606 I've put the posts up every Xmas.

I'm an ex serviceman who has served my country in the field, as have a few other members on here, and some of the homeless are ex servicemen.

Christmas is a special time when we should spare a thought, and a few bob for the homeless......:emoticon-0148-yes:

Hard to work out which are genuine and which are con artists. At Euston station everyday there is a gang of Romanian beggers, they share a 2ft crutch depending on the day of the week and have practised a leg wobble better than shakin stevens, simulating a major illness, others in the gang kneel face down in a prayer position for hours begging in the middle of the pavement. Seen the same gang ripping open tourist suitcases down a side street in Edgware Road and selling stolen/pick pocketed oyster cards in Euston Square station. On a Saturday night, when they think all the punters have gone, seen them all walking off on their mobiles phones. No idea why they are in the UK or what value they add to the economy. Friday coming home, English fella begging at Watford Junction, giving it the poor me dribble face, then his mobile rang, much to his embarrassment.

Saw an English bloke, homeless, when I was walking to work in the morning, he began swearing at a young girl and spat at her when she protested. I told him to calm it down and he gives me verbals and that he's ex army boxer and that he'd f**cking knock me out and he'd spit in my face etc. Feck knows what diseases you risk if you were to confront him.

I occasionally give food when you know its genuine. I suspect those who are genuine are driven off the best patches by these criminal gangs. Best give to Shelter charity. People at work volunteer to do the food service a Christmas in specialist charity centres, really admire them for this.

Wanna help people? I'm gonna do a home delivery grocery shop and get it sent to the local food bank. Look up your local one and you'll see they are probably in dire need of toiletries, particularly things for women, so not all about food.

Welcome to Tory britain. Until Brexit ****s it over we have the 5th biggest economy in the world but the top 1% have 50% of the wealth.
    It’s a ****ing disgrace.

It is difficult and I hate to sound harsh. I pay to a salary sacrifice scheme and hope it gets to the people that need it but there is always another side to a story. Two homeless sleeping on the street in Billericay (both english before we stereotype), the new owner of the football club (Tampling I think) gave them a job at the club and helped to house them. One was told to leave as he was found scoring drugs at the club when supposed to be working. The other stole thousands from the till, the drink etc. and ****ed off. Sometimes some are the architects of their own downfall.

Rather difficult to fiddle when your employer is deducting 20% of anything over £11170 at source under PAYE.
Your tax hasn’t covered what you will have out from cradle to grave,
