To rub salt in to our already sore wounds I'm sure you cannot help but notice that Yeovil Town, and Gary Johnson, are one game away from taking our place in the Championship.

Considering the population of Yeovil and the fact that they have only been in the Football League for about 10 years it makes our fall from grace even more galling than it already is, and makes me question how they got it so right and our board have hung us out to dry. What has happened cannot be changed but it puts the reality of our plight up front and central when you consider that in a lot of our poster's lifetime Yeovil were playing on the infamous slope of Huish Park where visitors feared to tread. I watched many games there during the time of the "giant killers" from Somerset when many famous teams fell victim to the team, but primarily the slope.

Good luck to Yeovil in the playoff final and I'm sure GJ wants to win that game like no other. What has really happened to us???

Hope they do it.....always had a soft spot for YTFC and GJ gave me some of my best memories in recent years at City. They were "that small club down the road" but now WE could be "that small club UP the road"!

And Wigan Athletic will escape the drop yet again and next season will win the Premiership by a country mile.

Yeovil are a small Mickey mouse club, followed by a handful of carrot crunchers... they really are a div 2 club at the highest

yes, I get your point, but there are no other clubs in that area to watch, so you'll always get farmer Bill from Castle Cary watch them in what ever division.

Other clubs in the area is taunton. Hard to see Yoevil support in taunton or anywhere in Somerset except Yeovil. The club has made Yeovil a football town. As a % of population properly supporting the club Yeovil are premier league and in Europe every season. Fans and club working together??

Yeovil have managed gates of 6500+ as an average before. Amazing figures for such a small club in reality. I hope they Muller brentford as a club like Yeovil moving up shows football has a bit of romance left.answer to question ? Yes. The club has been dysfunctional for a long time but it does not mean it will be for ever. City do have advantages to use. Big catchment area, the club are the largest in the west (not that great an achievement) so get out and start behaving like it at all levels.

Yeovil and Dorchester had a bond - they both hated Weymouth

Years later Yeovil are on the cusp of the Championship and Weymouth are 4 leagues below them in the Southern League (a league below Dorchester I might add!!!)

GJ has done an amazing job (again)
